报告摘要:In this presentation, I will introduce our recent works in the fields of waveguide quantum electrodynamics (QED). Specifically, we investigated the chiral interaction and disorder of qubit array induced strongly correlated photons. We found that chiral cavity-waveguide interaction or the disorder in the transition frequencies of qubits can induce photon antibunching, and especially nearly perfect photon blockade events. We also investigated the exotic long-range interaction and the associating quantum many-body phases in topological waveguide QED system. Our works is of fundamental interest in expanding the fields of cavity and waveguide QED, and has potential applications in the on-chip quantum information science and quantum simulation of strong correlated matters.
个人简介:吕新友,华中科技大学物理学院教授,博士生导师,国家自然科学基金“杰出青年基金”、“优秀青年基金”和湖北省“百人计划”获得者。主要从事腔量子电动力学(QED)和腔光力学等方面的理论研究。
